Dr. Ashley Hagauer Somers is a 2015 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Austin College. She is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Somers emphasizes effective client communication and aims to build long-lasting relationships with pet owners. She specializes in evidence-based medicine and customizes treatment plans for her patients, with particular interests in dermatology, internal medicine, and infectious diseases/public health.

Outside of work, Dr. Somers is involved in the Junior League of Austin and volunteers with the Meals on Wheels Central Texas PALs program. She enjoys reading and spending quality time with her son and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Comet.
